Lots of juicy news this week!
The 2024 Oscars aired on Sunday 10th March and featured many emotional speeches and star-studded moments. Key moments of the night include Da’Vine Joy Randolph taking the win for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in The Holdovers, Emma Stone winning Best Actress over Lily Gladstone, and Cillian Murphy winning his first Oscar for his performance in Oppenheimer.
The night didn’t end with the awards show though, as many stars headed over to Vanity Fair’s 2024 Oscar Afterparty. One highlight from this afterparty would be the debut of couple Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan. This event marks the first public event that the couple have attended, and people were ecstatic to see Carpenter and Keoghan show off their new relationship.
One Direction fans will be happy to hear that Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson were just announced as headlining artists for the music festival, Lollapalooza, in Berlin. Fans can only hope that the pair will have a mini 1D reunion on stage!
Speaking of One Direction, Zayn Malik recently announced that his new album, Room Under The Stairs, will be released on 17th May. This will be Malik’s 4th studio album and first album release since 2021. Due Lipa also announced that her 3rd studio album, Radical Optimist, will be released on 3rd May. This will mark Dua’s first album release since her 2020 hit album, Future Nostalgia. Fans of both Malik and Lipa are incredibly excited to say the least!
On Friday 15th March, Taylor Swift will be releasing her Eras Tour film on Disney+. Swifties are excited to see the four acoustic songs that Taylor has chosen to include in the film: Cardigan, Maroon, Death By A Thousand Cuts, and You Are In Love. Fans can’t wait to be able to relive their favourite concert memories whenever they want!
Lastly, the Glastonbury Festival has finally announced this year’s lineup. Headlining artists include Dua Lipa, SZA, Coldplay, Shania Twain, LCD Soundsystem, Janelle Monae, and more!
