We are back this week with some exciting pop culture news to share!

Starting off with some TikTok news, the song “Tell Ur Girlfriend” by Lay Bankz has absolutely taken the app by storm, with many users recreating the viral dance that goes with the song.

On Monday 8th April, Billie Eilish announced her highly anticipated 3rd album, “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT,” will release on 17th May. Eilish teased the album by adding her 100+ million Instagram followers to a “close friends” story, and then slowly posting snippets of the new album cover. Eilish revealed that there will be no singles for the album, so fans have to wait til 17th May to get a glimpse of this new music.

On 11th April, the trailer for Bridgerton season 3 was released. This upcoming season will follow Penelope and Colin’s budding romance, as well as what the rest of the Bridgerton family is up too. The season will be released in two parts, with the first part coming out on 16th May and the second part coming out on 13th June.

This upcoming weekend, the infamous Coachella will take place in Indio, California. The lineup this year includes headlining artists Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator, and Doja Cat. Other popular artists gracing the Coachella stage include  Sabrina Carpenter, Peso Pluma, RAYE, J Balvin, Renee Rapp, Jon Batiste, and so much more!

On Friday 12th April, many artists came out with new music! Prior to her Coachella debut, Sabrina Carpenter released her new summer hit “Espresso.” Dua Lipa released her newest single “Illusion”, and Zayn Malik came out with his latest hit “Alienated.” Other artists who also came out with new music include Perrie Edwards, Sia, and Maggie Rogers.
