Lots of exciting news to share!
On Thursday 28th March, Olivia Colman announced that she was not going to be reprising her role as Nick Nelson’s mom in season three of the critically acclaimed Netflix series, Heartstopper. Colman cited her busy schedule as reasoning why she was unable to be in the new season. While fans are crushed to see her go, Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman has assured audiences that the presence of Colman’s character will still be felt throughout the new season.
It was also announced that British director Christopher Nolan and his wife, British producer Emma Thomas, are going to receive a knighthood and dame hood respectively for their contributions to the British film industry. What an honour!
The day just kept getting better! The rest of the cast for Jamie Lloyd’s stage adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, starring Tom Holland, was finally revealed. Francesca Amewudah-Rivers will be playing alongside Holland as Juliet, with other actors joining the cast such as Tomiwa Edun as Capulet and Joshua- Alexander Williams as Mercutio.
On Friday 29th March, Beyonce released her highly anticipated country album titled Cowboy Carter. The album features iconic country tracks and features from artists such as Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, and Post Malone.
Also on this day, Doja Cat announced that her brand new single, “MASC”, was going to be released on 5th April. Fans are excited to see what she is going to bring to the table with this new song!
